SPONDILITIS AND OSTEOARTHRITIS

 We received the following information 18 august 2004:

 "The medication I give our dog which has spondolitis and (I believe) osteo-arthritis as well) is "Extra strength" Chondroitin Complex Gel (500mg glucosamine sulphate, 400 mg chondroitin sulphate, 15mg citrus bioflavonoids and 0.33mg manganese per capsule).

 The important element is that it is SULPHATE. For humans they recommend 3 capsules per day. I give her 1 capsule per day. You might not have seen it, but these days she jumps off the ground on all four legs which was impossible before. I also think that giving her dog food that is especially for older dogs has made a difference. Long may she live !!"
