Kerala/India is still going on and they need desperately the help

I still receive endless emails/proof regarding the brutalities that
Kerala is witnessing on all animals.
This state has become a large slaughterhouse for anything that is
moving and not human.
IT IS MORE BARBARIC THAN ANYONE CAN IMAGINE.
As one of the measures to mobilse against the ongoing and never
ending barbarism, we have decided to take up the campaign to - "

The local government of Kerala have decided to start culling dogs
despite the Indian governments ruling that this practice is
illegal, and that dogs should be sterilised in accordance with the
ABC programe.
Dogs are caught with a bare loop of wire and are either injected
with strychnine or choked to death, either way the death is slow
and painful.

Dear
friends,
The
killing of dogs, rabbits and turtles in Kerela has not
stopped it
seems.
Apart from ARK, Kerala, I have recieved other emails of dogs being
brutally killed in Trivandrum and rest of Kerala.
This email is one of them (see fwded email in the end).
Anyone raising a voice there is facing litigation and harrassment
from the police, and govt there.
A foreign lady had faced a lot of heat and misconduct from the
authorities there when she had tried to save the dogs. the video

Please
write to AWBI and seek explanantions as to why they are not taking
stringent action against the government.
It is the duty of the Environment Ministry to intervene in such
matters.
After much investigation into the court cases and orders, we have
established that the government there lying through their
teeth.
There is no such clear order to kill dogs.
Please
contact immediately in case anyone has any suggestion or plan of
action to address this issue with utmost urgency.
In the meanwhile we are sending a written complaint to AWBI,
Environment Ministry to take swift action.
But every one of us must write seperately, as every letter
counts.
If possible and take out time to hand deliver it there.
Thats has an even greater impact.

The
second issue is of Rabbit and turtle farming. In the
past we had intimated you of illegal turtle and rabbit farming
being promoted by government there.
Now they are back in action. please go through the article at

They are shamelessly killing innocent rabbits and trutles for meat
and skin, and too against the law of the
land.

Dear Friends,
I was called into a studio today at 9am with our vice president
from the Chios animal welfare society and also a very well known
politician.. We were interviewed live for ET.3 greece regarding the
give out of poison from Chios Mayor... I would like to sat that the
Journalist was completely on our sides, she attacked the politician
for handing out the poison, and he answered that they had been
doing this for the last 9years.. We replied, Exactly and still you
yet are to be rid of Rats, so the poison does not work, instead it
kills off the stray and owned dogs and cats.. He then also said, he
was not to blame, that everyone does it!!!!!!! So he made himself
look a complete fool, and we again look to be winning..
