Hi,
My name is Spunky and I am looking for a furever
home.
Last year my human Mom adopted me and I was so happy.
I thought I would never have to look for a new home, she told me I
was her love sponge and she loved me.
I loved her too.
Then she fell a few times but the last time, she did not get
up.
She lay on the kitchen floor for over 24 hours and did
not move!
I waited and waited for her to get up, then someone came and they
took her away in an ambulance to a
hospital.
I had to go to a "boarding kennel", while waiting to see what would
happen.
I was told she could not take care of me and she is not
coming to take me home.
So I am writing to tell you my story in the hopes that someone will
help me.
I am only 3 ½ years old.
I am a boxer mix, mostly white with some black.
I am around 55 pounds, and have an underbite.
My human mom told me it was cute that my tongue sticks
out.
I have good manners, I am housebroken and go outside to do my
"business", but I prefer to be inside.
Oh, I am not a barker.
I am very gentle, not aggressive with toys, food or other
animals.
In fact, I like cats!
I am microchipped, heartworm negative, housebroken and up to date
on vaccinations.
I am scared of loud noises and prefer a quiet and stable
environment.
But I do like to play!
I like my squeaky toys and will play with other dogs, if they would
like to.
I have gone through a lot, and it will take me some time to feel
comfortable.
I will be shy at first, but with time I will trust and give my love
unconditionally to you.
Please be patient with me.

Spunky
is currently being boarded in Northern California - (at a dog
kennel in Fair Oaks) until a home can be found. The kennel
will allow visitors,but please contact for details. Please
circulate this information to help Spunky. My mother loved
him and he deserves a good home. I will transport to LA
if a suitable home is found. He likes riding in
the car.

One of the saddest thoughts is that this dog's champion
Gina died tragically and I can only imagine how she would feel to
know that he is not safe, not loved and she is helpless to
help.

Jake is 8- 10 years old , he was rescued by Gina Gracio who has
died in a car crash . He has been displaced time and time
again............he now needs a forever home once gain .
Please help , he has until Saturday WHICH IS WHEN HIS OWNER IS
DUMPING HIM
He can not be with cats or small fluffy dogs due to his prey
drive.He does get along great with dogs and would love senior home
or a stay at home mom to hang out with :)
This dog is stressed and needs to go to a home that can spend time
with him , he has been dumped more times than I can remember. Gina
saved him for a reason and he deserves much more than this in his
remaing years. He has sepration anxiety and by now , I'm sure it's
worse.
