To the President of the Câmara Municipal

Dear Mr president,

Repeatedly animals are deliberately poisoned for whatever reason.

Poisoning seems to be aimed mainly at stray dogs and cats but it affects domestic and protected animals as well.

As very toxic poisons are generally spread in a stealthy and careless way they form a great threat to nature and the (mental) health of the civilian population.

Poisoning is not only a barbaric and cowardly act but also a criminal act that causes immense suffering and grief.

In your responsible position  and within the framework of your contacts with police, G.N.R., judicial and governmental offices, hunters associations, representatives of the tourist industry and other authorities - we urge you to exert all your power to stop the poisoning of animals.
